Approaching the 40th anniversary of his Mitsubishi Lancer has been available around the world with about a dozen different names – Lancer Fiore for the sedan with the Dodge Colt Mirage. Now in the ninth generation since 1973 debut, the Lancer in a variety of badges has sold over six million units.
For 2011, more entry-level ES trim joins sedan and hatchback siblings with a base price of about $ 2,000 less than last year’s model. Reduced prices caused by the influx of top-notch small cars are available from almost any manufacturer.
