Z3 popular from the 1990s are long gone, and the E85 Z4 for, for me, not very interesting. Z4 E89 is a very different animal. Limited production BMW Z8, an engine based off the 400-horsepower BMW M5 E39, is a hot car, so BMW has to think they have a Z roadster that would not be “limited production” and people actually pay to build less than $ 100,000 to get one.
2011 BMW Z4 interior is much like the Z8 from the late 1990s, with light brushed aluminum finish and leather seats are comfortable (or imitation leather seats if you do not choose Premium Package). The exterior has a very clean lines with a slightly rounded corner at the back like the Z8 from back in the day. The steering wheel does not feel too big, but has a style like you would find in a stock BMW M3 or M5.
