The 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee is almost the same as model 1999-2004. You have two machines chioces and interesting enough you can get it in 2×4 and 4×4. Most of the same body style for every year mentioned above, only a few molds and plastic grill is the biggest difference.
The smallest engine for this car is a 4.0 liter inline six-cylinder 242ci. He has enough power for low speed range (redlines at 5200rpm). These stocks pushed around 195hp at the wheels and about 210 ft / lbs of torque. Maximum torque is below 3000 rpm, making it ideal for transport and four-drive. He does have some problems with cooling after waking up more than 120,000 miles, but cheap to fix. This machine is very limited and once you “open” it has lots of potential power. Durability is unmatched. After I hit 100,000 miles I started using full synthetic oil and now at 145,000 miles the engine is still very strong.
