The manufacturer of luxury sports cars Porsche has always been a leader in sports innovation, technology and sports competitions in the world of racing. Many tracks and race courses around the world is not just a testing ground for the famous sports car brand, but also as a laboratory to test their innovation race a lot, so try to keep improving the technology used by the famous sports car manufacturer.

As the innovator of the late 19′s and early 20 Dr Ferdinand Porsche is credited with designing and developing the Lohner Porsche in 1898, the first hybrid motor vehicle (gasoline and electricity). The vehicle was developed and manufactured by Dr. Porsche while working for Jakob Lohner & Co., where he worked as principal engineer.

The Lohner Porsche Semper VIVUS (“Mixte Hybrid”), as is known, in part, supported by two electronic motors wheel hub on one axis and the gasoline engine on the left axis. This car also features an electric generator to maintain battery power. This vehicle is also offered as a full version with four electric motors powered hub instead of two.
