Focus BEV provides electrical differences.
Ford Focus Electric will go on sale in late 2011, the last and perhaps the most interesting models in a variety of compact Focus. Supported by an electric traction motor with permanent magnets developed by LG Chem, the lithium ion battery to achieve 123 hp and 181 lb.-ft. of torque. The electric 5-door hatchback is being built at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan.
Although not yet available for sale, there are some things about the Focus Electric we already know. On the one hand, Escort EV is expected to get one mile per gallon for the Chevrolet Volt range. You will be able to recharge in 3 to 4 hours, which is half the time the Nissan LEAF, with 240 volts of the station. The maximum speed is 84 mph and a range of pure electric LEAF must defeat the projection of 90 miles.
